Course Description

Build a specialised career in the glazing and glass installation industry with the MSF30422 Certificate III in Glass and Glazing.

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge required to cut, install, and replace glass in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. It also covers modern glazing systems, safety practices, and installation techniques.

Students will gain hands-on experience in:

  • glass cutting and processing
  • installing windows, doors, and glass panels
  • glazing systems and frameworks
  • handling and transporting glass safely
  • interpreting plans and specifications
  • workplace health and safety (WHS)
  • repairing and replacing glass

Training is delivered in a workshop and real or simulated workplace environment, ensuring industry-ready outcomes.

Course Duration

  • Enrolment Validity: 2 years
  • RPL Duration: Usually 3 months
  • Training & Assessment: Typically 12 months

Both pathways use our Online Learning Management System (LMS).

Entry Requirements

There are no formal qualification entry requirements.

However, Career Skills Australia requires learners to:

  1. Hold a relevant plumbing qualification
    👉 e.g., CPC32420 Certificate III in Plumbing
  2. Be 18 years or older
  3. Have employer / supervisor support
  4. Hold a Higher School Certificate or equivalent
  5. Have a valid White Card
  6. Complete LLN assessment
  7. Commit to course duration
  8. Provide workplace support agreement
